A short time ago Circle Music demonstrated their style, power and delightfulness by “The World of Circle” which included exclusive tracks of the Circle Artist Community. The next coup is a historical various artists’ album compiled by Alex Flatner: “Résumé” includes the essence of minimal, techhouse and clubby stuff which made the crowds cheering and raising their hands over 2007. These are the tracks people always ask the DJ “who is this?” or “could you write down the name of this awesome track?”
Alex succeeded in arranging a best of – playlist which stands for 2007 electronic development featuring the crème de la crème alongside newcomers and talents of the electronic music scene. 2000 & One aka Dylan Hermelijn serves some “Tropical Melons”. This guy is at the front of multitasking madness – running several labels e.g. Intacto Records, plays around the globe as liveact and dj providing delicious melodic minimal techno. Gui Boratto works amongst labels as Kompakt, Harthouse, Plastic City to name a few and comes along with a long time leader of the electronic scene: Robert Babicz – the German institution for deep productions and state of the art mastering did a fabulous remix of melancholic “Mr Decay”.
Gel Abril and Chaim were called “newcomers” at the beginning of 2007. Now they are both at the top of the request list of labels and promoters. “Very Wrong” is a deep hypnotic construction which got even more flavour by Chaim’s interpretation. Butch – the new talent suited at Greatstuff Recordings hit the crowds with a playful track called “on the line”. No other as Oxia remixed this one and the track advanced to the top of many important playlists. Martin Buttrich is one of the most recognized German producers (Timo Maas, Loco Dice) and released Hunter at Cocoon Recordings. The B-Side was played all over the globe and still has insider tip status. Stefan Goldmann runs Classic and Macro and created a milestone in electronic history with “The Bribe”, a cinematic, melodic and really deep production. Gregor Tresher’s “A thousand nights” rounds up a bundle of glorious artists and tracks which make musical history!
